Happy June! Hopefully this month won’t fly by as quickly as May because late Spring/early Summer is a great time to enjoy the Hudson Valley with plenty of fun things to do all month long. This week, here in Kingston, NY and surrounding area you can enjoy everything from Shakespeare to Bluegrass, and from boat tours on the Rondout to a sumptuous Kaesespatzle (that’s German Mac and Cheese) Lunch at our local German-American club.

Virtual Lecture: Ghost Fleet Awakened which is a virtual event presented by the Hudson River Maritime Museum. Maritime archaeologist and author Joseph W. Zarzynski will explain why the British deliberately sank 260 of their own vessels on Lake George during the French and Indian War and how that story unfolded giving way to unusual tale of the “Ghost Fleet”.
Stitched Together Exhibition Opening is an outdoor exhibit at the Reher Center for Immigrant Culture and History featuring garments created by students from Kingston Catholic, Rhinebeck High, and Ulster BOCES based on research of the garment industry here in Kingston, NY.
The Knotty G’s are at Keegan Ales! Hailing all the way from Asheville, NC to spread American tunes throughout the country and we’re lucky to have them land here in Kingston for a performance at Keegan’s brewery pub.
