Things To Do This Weekend in Kingston, NY for 6/4-6/6
Welcome to the first weekend in the glorious month of June, a time when the Hudson Valley has totally ‘gone green’ and everyone is looking forward to enjoying a fun and relaxing summer after months of caution and restraint. Kingston, and the surrounding area has plenty to offer in the way of entertainment and fun things to do for all with live music making a strong comeback at local venues and outdoor events of all kinds to take advantage of. If you are looking for some great local music, interesting art exhibits, historic tours, or Hudson River river cruises, our calendar of events has a wide variety of awesome things to discover in and around Kingston NY!
Here are some of our picks for some weekend fun things to do.
All Day Boat Tours @Hudson River Maritime Museum – If you want to explore Kingston’s Rondout Waterfront, doing it from the water will give you the best perspective especially with a knowledgeable guide from the Hudson River Maritime Museum. They offer plenty of different types of tours throughout the week.
Plant Sales & Family Fun at Seed Song Farm – Pick up some plants, let the kids roam around down at the farm, and support a local teaching farm that offers lots of fun things to do for kids all year long.
Madarka – Walk, bike or drive, but make sure you get to the Rail Trail Cafe on the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail and you’ll enjoy a great local band playing Klezmer, Hungarian, Romani, and popular restaurant music from Eastern Europe.
…The best part of this week’s happenings? Some of these events are Virtual so if you’re not feeling like venturing out just yet, there are still many fun and exciting happenings to take part in. Have a nice week no matter what you do!
