Throughout the week, join ‘DANCE XROSS FITNESS DXF’ at CCE! DXF uses different genres of fun and basic dance movements in classic and contemporary styles to get you moving and having fun. Conveniently located in Midtown Kingston at the awesome new Energy Square building!
Bardavon Presents Virtual Cinema – ‘WAR HORSE’ War Horse is a powerfully moving and imaginative stage drama, based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo. This event is available for customers to buy “appointment screenings” daily, so check out the event below to schedule a screening. Another awesome event presented by UPAC and Bardavon is ‘OPEN PRACTICE’ by Philippe Petit, which gives audiences front row seats to observe Petit’s creative process and the origins of many of his unique walks and moves on the wire.
For some fascinating Hudson Valley history, log on to “Ulysses S. Grant’s Tomb: The Monument on the Hudson” Wednesday, March 31, 2021 7:00 PM Virtual Lecture via Zoom hosted by the Hudson River Maritime Museum.
In the Art world, The Green kill presents “Three,” an exhibition currated by Joel Silverstein, featuring Tine Kindermann, Joel Silverstein and Miguel Trelles. And, you can still catch THE LOCKWOOD GALLERY is pleased to present “Bruce Cahn: Discovered,” a solo exhibition highlighting the prolific though little known practice of the late artist Bruce Cahn (1942-2020). Visit the ‘Follow the Line’ Exhibition at ARTPORT on the Rondout, running March 6- April 11, 2021.
Get outside and enjoy the fresh, spring air with the Woodstock Land Conservancy and their “First Saturdays on the Trail” program series. This week, enjoy a forest school walk hosted by Heather Longyear.
Lastly, for the upcoming holiday, take part in some Easter related events- Join Beyond the 4 Walls Outreach Program at Van Buren Park on April 3rd, 2021 from 11am-3pm for ‘Easter Egg Painting and Coloring,’ as well as ‘First Annual Easter Egg Hunt’ at Grand Cru in Rhinebeck (Open to kids of patrons, 12 years or younger)!
