New Exhibit at Hudson River Maritime Museum Celebrates the Beauty of Working Waterfronts
The Hudson River Maritime Museum (HRMM) is thrilled to announce a new exhibition, Working Waterfronts, showcasing the oil and pastel paintings of Hudson Valley maritime artist, Peter K. Eagleton (1937-2005).
About the Exhibit

The Artist: Peter K. Eagleton
Eagleton was not only a talented artist but also a marine historian with a deep understanding of his subjects. Having worked as a shipbroker for over 36 years, he developed a close familiarity with ships, tugboats, docks, and yards. His vibrant and detailed paintings capture the essence of working waterfronts, featuring freighters, tugs, lighters, and other vessels that graced the waters of New York Harbor and the Hudson River.

Follow the River Lecture Series
In conjunction with the exhibit, HRMM is hosting Coast Guard Art Program artist Fred Feiler for a lecture titled Marine Art: Finding Joy in Color and Peace in Nature.

About the Hudson River Maritime Museum
