Valentine’s Day in Kingston, NY

‘Twas the weekend before Valentine’s Day in and around Kingston, NY. If you are a fan of Valentine’s Day, you will be pleased with the awesome selection of love-themed events and activities taking place this year.

Pet-themed sweetness this year will include Valentine’s Day photos at Petsmart on Saturday February 9th, the UCSPCA’s “Crazy Fur You” 3-Course Prix Fixe Dinner at Duo Bistro on Wednesday February 13th, and on Valentine’s Day treat your sweetheart to a “Valentine Puppygram,” a surprise visit to your sweetheart, wherever they may be that day, by a shelter puppy bearing gifts (sign up now!).

Some highlights on Sunday February 10th include a Floral Heart Workshop at Kalleco Nursery, a four-course Fjord Wine (local wine!) Dinner at Butterfield Stone Ridge, and a “Sexual Assault and Harassment Restorative Justice Healing Circle” and Valentine making party at Outdated Cafe by 1 Billion Rising with special guest speaker, Eve Ensler.

On Valentine’s Day, swing by Rough Draft for a pop-up bakery presented by Local Artisan Bakery. Grab some of their (limited) goodies available for purchase on the spot, or order ahead of time to ensure you get exactly what your heart desires. In the evening, swing by one of Kingston’s charming eateries, perhaps Palizzata or Boitson’s, for a romantic dinner. Afterwards, head over to PAKT for an evening of erotic literature and poetry at the Valentine’s Erotic Open Mic night. Lastly, keep the festive mood going and dance Friday (February 15th) night away at the Elks’ Super Awesome Valentine’s Day Party.
