Here are some of our picks for some weekend fun things to do.

All Day Boat Tours @Hudson River Maritime Museum – If you want to explore Kingston’s Rondout Waterfront, doing it from the water will give you the best perspective especially with a knowledgeable guide from the Hudson River Maritime Museum.  They offer plenty of different types of tours throughout the week.

Plant Sales & Family Fun at Seed Song Farm – Pick up some plants, let the kids roam around down at the farm, and support a local teaching farm that offers lots of fun things to do for kids all year long.

Madarka – Walk, bike or drive, but make sure you get to the Rail Trail Cafe on the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail and you’ll enjoy a great local band playing  Klezmer, Hungarian, Romani, and popular restaurant music from Eastern Europe.
