This year’s Snowflake Festival was bigger and better than ever, with more acts and entertainment, expanded spaces and places, and more fun. The weather was just right for KUBA’s annual community event. Everyone waited patiently for Mrs. Claus, Santa Claus, and the elves to arrive on the antique fire engine. The lighting of the Christmas tree at the corner of Wall Street and North Front was successful and kicked of the great entertainment for the evening. Ranging from the Uptown Vintage Jazz Dancers, to Bond Street Theatre’s Shinbone Alley Stilt Band, to the Heat Miser, to the Hudson Valley Strawberry Fiddlers, the Snowflake Festival provided something for everyone ages young and old to enjoy.
