Our featured performers are poets hailing from Philadelphia, PA:
Mac Chandler (they/them) is a poet and bartender from West Philly. They produce a quarterly poetry show called Premonitions through Moonstone Arts, Philly’s longest running poetry series. They also have a new collection of self published poetry, ‘There Is A Thing Haunting Me I Could Grow To Love’ available now. In their free time, they enjoy drumming, a little episode of Survivor, and sharing hot gossip with the scary voices that bemoan from their haunted and cursed amulet.
c.r. hooker (they/them) is a poet and painter born and raised in the unforgiving heat of Arizona, though they currently call the concrete jungle of Philadelphia home. They are the photographer for @scribesonsouth and this is their first feature on the east coast (!!!!). When not writing poetry or engaged in tomfoolery, c.r. can often be found playing with their cat or covered in paint.
White Noise is a series of open mics created for artistic expression of all forms and welcomes performers of all kinds! We work to create and hold a space for creativity, and can accommodate any and all projects of the imagination.
