April 24 – May 24, 2026
Opening reception Saturday, April 25, 3 – 5pm
This exhibit presents art processes that may be viewed from all sides. The artwork encompasses aspects of space, shape, texture and color in a variety of materials. From the realistic to the abstract, freestanding and relief, unique and exciting sculptural forms will be on display.
Highlights will include an exploration of forms from clay, wax, wood, stone, glass, fabric, metal or found objects. This will be an elegant balance of complex designs.
Three traditional methods of sculpture whether abstract or representational include modeling, carving or joining. Figurative pieces capture the gestures and mood of the model. Abstract forms don’t attempt to represent an accurate depiction of visual
reality but rather focus on energy, movement and animation.
