Whether tearing up a swamp-stomping barn-burner, gently delivering a tender folk ballad or sailing uncharted seas of near-telepathic group interplay, the Backburners are a formidable musical collective steeped in the ethic of teamwork, spontaneity and fine musicianship. Soulful, rootsy originals and covers from bluegrass to classic americana rock and psychedelia abound.
