“The Audacity” Book Launch

Soho Press and Rough Draft Bar & Books present a launch party for Ryan Chapman’s novel The Audacity. An evening of cocktails, literature, scams, and a surprise or two. Featuring the author in conversation with Halimah Marcus, executive director of Electric Literature. Vinyl set by DJ Harlan.

The Audacity, named one of 2024’s most anticipated books by Lit Hub, has been called “fearless, irreverent, and so very funny” by Kimberly King Parsons and “A Modest Proposal by way of Succession” by Kevin Nguyen. Kirkus Reviews says, “[Chapman] has a keen eye for the foibles of the new gilded age.”
