What You Will Learn

  • Brainstorming of film ideas and analyzing short films
  • Composition techniques to compose proper shots
  • Storyboard, script, shoot your own short film
(Using your phone if you don’t own a camera – the objective; to come out with a series of shots that tell a story, no editing necessary)
  • An overview of filmmaking tools (camera accessories, editing software options, etc.), even if not used in this course
  • Develop a deeper understanding and fondness for films and how they are crafted, sparking a long-lasting desire to create in YOU!
