“Meet the Artist” with Chris Brooks

On Thursday, February 19, we welcome Chris Brooks to “Meet the Artist” night at CPW. Brooks will be talking about his decade-long journey to discover a 137 year old family printing and publishing business, one he knew little about because of the death of his father when he was young. The culmination of which was a book of finely crafted large format photographs and letterpress printing, published by that same family business, relaunched some 40 years after its closure. He will have copies of his book, The Brooks Press of Wirksworth, available for sale throughout the evening. This event will be live-streamed on CPW’s YouTube page at 6pm. ( subject to chnage)
