MAW + Adriana Tampasis at Tremper Arts – opening night event

Join us for the opening night of the 2025 Art @ Tremper x Notice Recordings series: a deep listening experience of exploratory sound and improvisation in our intimate Catskills studio. Doors at 630; show at 7. 

MAW—featuring bassist Frank Meadows, guitarist Jessica Ackerley, and pianist Eli Wallace—presents a fiery set of free jazz and experimental improvisation.

Opening the evening is flutist Adriana Tampasis, whose solo work explores texture, breath, and extended technique through free improvisation.

Tremper is a new mission-based project reimagining how cultural, ecological, and hospitality systems can support one another — economically, socially, and ecologically. In this first, exciting state of opening, focus will be on its cultural arts center with residencies, performances, workshops, and retreats. Come and get a first look for yourself and enjoy some incredible experimental jazz.
