Join our fun after school art class for kids ages 7-9 on Tuesdays from 4-5pm at The Department of Things! Lead by local teaching artist Kelsey Robinson, the class sessions will lead kids through explorations in process art. Kids will have a chance to make several seasonally inspired (yay Halloween!) projects and have a great time!

Session One begins Tuesday October 8th and runs through October 29th

Kelsey Robinson is a Kingston based artist born and raised in San Francisco. She holds a BFA in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design. Kelsey has studied sculpture , ceramics, printmaking, painting, photography and woodworking.

Kelsey moved to Kingston from Oakland California in March of 2020, coincidentally during the start of the covid pandemic, with her husband and young twin sons. She worked mostly in Cake as the owner of wedding cake studio The Whole Cake in Oakland, but currently works in clay, screenprinting and watercolor. Kelsey has led several art workshops for kids and adults and is excited to jump into teaching multi class process art experiences for kids!
