July 4th Fireworks Spectacular
Don’t miss your chance to see fireworks at eye level from 212 feet above the Hudson River on the World’s Longest Elevated Pedestrian Bridge!
On Thursday, July 4, Walkway Over the Hudson will be open at 7 p.m. for ticket holders to experience an unobstructed view of the City of Poughkeepsie fireworks display. Children 12 and under are free but must reserve a ticket online in advance for admittance.
Tickets sell out every year and will not be available for purchase on-site during the event. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind event!

On July 4, the Walkway will close to the general public at 4 p.m. and reopen to ticket holders beginning at 7 p.m. The fireworks launch between 9-9:30 p.m.
The Friends of the Walkway nonprofit organization and Q92.1 FM proudly support of the City of Poughkeepsie’s annual fireworks. Proceeds from ticket sales support Walkway Over the Hudson helping us to host community events and programs, improve the park with new amenities, support our volunteer Ambassadors, and much more!
