The Jeff “Siege” Siegel Quintet makes its debut at Lydia’s on Saturday, August 22.  The group formed in 2005 as a quartet and has gone between quintet and sextet for the past six years.  During its tenure, the band has toured Europe four times, Africa once, performed throughout the New York area and released 4 cds during its time together.  The group is currently recording a new cd and will be featuring the music and new repertoire at Lydia’s at this performance. Compositions by all quintet members will be featured.  Joining Jeff on drums are tenor saxophonist Erica Lindsay, trumpeter Ron Horton, pianist Francesca Tanksley as well as bassist Rich Syracuse.
