DESCRIPTION:The Jeff “Siege” Siegel Quintet makes its debut at Lydia’
 s on Saturday\, August 22.  The group formed in 2005 as a quartet and ha
 s gone between quintet and sextet for the past six years.  During its te
 nure\, the band has toured Europe four times\, Africa once\, performed thr
 oughout the New York area and released 4 cds during its time together. 
  The group is currently recording a new cd and will be featuring the musi
 c and new repertoire at Lydia’s at this performance. Compositions by al
 l quintet members will be featured.  Joining Jeff on drums are tenor sax
 ophonist Erica Lindsay\, trumpeter Ron Horton\, pianist Francesca Tanksley
