Hudson Valley Jazz Jam
Led by local drummer Bryan Kopchak, Hudson Valley Jazz Jam has been called “the best jam in the Hudson Valley”. After nearly 3 years of success at it’s primary location at Quinn’s in Beacon, NY, the jam has become a hub for local legends, up-and-coming players and aspiring students alike.
Recognizing the competitive nature of some New York City jazz sessions, Bryan aspires to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all players, while simultaneously raising the bar towards a level of musicianship that inspires not only the musicians, but the audience as well.
The mission is simple: Unite musicians across the Hudson Valley into a communal presence, to represent an expansive culture of music, art and expression that is accessible to various communities. To also serve as an educational hub for musicians of all calibers and most importantly, foster a learning environment for young students.
