Holiday Pop-Up Cat Café

On Sunday, December 8th and Saturday, December 21st, the Ulster County SPCA will hosting a Holiday Pop-Up Cat Café! Purr-chase a snuggle sessions with shelter cats at the Ulster County SPCA, while enjoying donuts and hot chocolate from Hole In The Wall Donuts. Enter our two cat rooms, brightly decorated for the holiday season, and get some love from adoptable shelter cats and kittens. Our snuggle sessions are a great way to spend a winter afternoon, reduce seasonal stress, and help socialize the cats in our care. Cat volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the cats, and each kennel space will include information about the resident cat. Guests are encouraged to play “Santa Paws” by bringing a small donation to “gift” to the shelter cats, such as a case of wet food, toys, snuggle blankets, etc. Photos with the cats and holiday attire is encouraged! Please note that this is not an adoption event – guests interested in adopting will need to go through the usual online application process. We will already have adoption appointments scheduled for that day.
