History and Geology Walk and Talk 2024

Join the Century House Historical Society and the Wallkill Valley Land Trust for a special collaborative educational event, Saturday May 4th, 1 – 2:30pm at the Snyder Estate (Rain date: Sunday May 5, 1-2:30pm). Join us as we explore hundreds of years of local history and millions of years of geology all in one spot. Local Historian Bill Merchant and Geologist Laurel Mutti will lead us through the Snyder Estate and Widow Jane Mine highlighting the incredibly rich history and interesting geology of the Estate, the Mine and the area that surrounds it.
