In celebration of Thames and Hudson’s publication of New Deal Art by John P. Murphy we’ll be printing a poster design created during the Great Depression under Roosevelt’s New Deal Art projects. John’s interview with NYC Radio Live is now available for streaming here.
The great RADIO image we’ll be printing was originally designed by artist Lester Beale as part of a larger series of works advertising the benefits of the Rural Electrification Administration’s efforts to bring power to under-served areas of the United States.
Drop in anytime from 12-3pm on Saturday June 11, 2026 to pull a commemorative print! It just takes a few minutes and you’ll learn how multi-color silkscreen prints are created.
