Finding Your Steady Center: IFS Practice Group
Finding Your Steady Center
Our Practice Group is starting up again later this month — now as a five-week journey.
This group offers space to slow down, reconnect, and practice finding balance when life pulls you in different directions. Each week we’ll focus on a different theme to help you deepen awareness of your system and strengthen Self-leadership in daily life.
Five-Week Journey
Week 1 – Your Grounded Center
Explore what it feels like to move through the day from a grounded, Self-led place versus a reactive one. Begin to recognize that felt sense of balance in your body and mind.
Week 2 – Meeting the Protectors & Firefighters
Get to know the parts that jump in to keep you safe or manage emotion. Learn to approach them with curiosity and compassion instead of frustration.
Week 3 – From Blending to Balance
Understand what it means to be “blended” with a part and how to step back into Self when reactivity takes over.
Week 4 – Understanding Exiles
Gently explore the vulnerable parts beneath your protectors — the ones carrying pain or fear — and learn how to approach them safely.
Week 5 – Living with Self-Leadership
Integrate everything you’ve learned with practical tools for returning to calm, clarity, and compassion in daily life.
