Join us on June 21st in the Reher Center Gallery for a special screening of the film Pather Panchali presented by our friends from the Kingston Film Foundation and Calcutta Kitchens. Satyajit Ray’s 1955 film presents a depiction of rural Bengali life in a style inspired by Italian neorealism. As his debut film, Pather Panchali announced Ray as an important new cinematic voice that made itself heard all over the world. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the film starts at 7:30 PM. We hope to see you here!
