Carl Mateo is a singer songwriter with deep roots in the Hudson Valley, NY. Informed by the Americana songwriting tradition Carl renders soulful and emotive performances utilizing guitar, piano and electric harmonica. Featuring one of the finest rhythm sections in the Hudson Valley with Eric Parker on drums and Kyle Esposito on bass and special guest Nick Moran on guitar and Mandolin The Carl Mateo Band play these songs with grooves tinged by blues, reggae, latin and gospel influences.
