In this first class we will cover how to cast on and knit, in a very small group setting that is conducive to learning! (In Beginner Knitting – Part 2 we cover how to purl and bind off.)

You may come to this class once or multiple times, whatever supports your learning! It is for absolute beginners but also a good option if you learned how to knit in the past and would like a refresher.

You will need to purchase beginner-friendly yarn and needles at YFK for your class and will have a $5 store credit to use towards your yarn and needles purchase. Thank you for your materials purchase, it helps our business sustainability!

Class Size: min 2 and max 4
Class Fee: $30 (for each Beginner Knitting – Part 1 class that you choose to attend)
Materials Fee (for your first class): This fee will vary based on the yarn and needles you choose and can range from approx. $10-85, after use of your $5 store credit.* If you choose to take this class more than once, no materials purchase is necessary. Just bring your yarn from your first class!

Cancellation Policy: Full refund less credit card processing fee (effective 4/11/23) is provided for any cancellation up to one week before the class date. Credit towards another class is provided for any cancellation made from six days through the day before the class date. No credit or refunds issued after this time, including no-shows on the day-of. If the class is cancelled by us because we have not met the stated minimum number of students, you will receive a full refund.

*Store credit: The $5 store credit may be used solely towards the purchase of yarn and needles for your class and on the date of your class. There is no cash value for the $5 store credit offered as part of this class.
