Art Lab: After School

Grades 1-5

Students joyfully explore various materials and concepts in small groups through hands-on art-making each week. By utilizing painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture, students will explore the creation of two- and three-dimensional space, dynamic compositions, layered materials, imagery, and methods to express themselves and represent what they see in the world around them. Each class begins with an essential question and ends with a discussion of the works, centering personal artistry and voice.
