Dive into the world of printmaking, drawing, and collage. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to incorporate these techniques into unique works of art through hands-on practice and expert guidance. This workshop is for anyone interested in creating images using multiple materials and printmaking techniques. Imagine a note from your high school sweetheart, your elementary school report card, or last week’s grocery receipt combined with drawing/painting collagraph and monoprint plates to connect and reflect on our times. We will be creating new boundaries within the media of printmaking and collage. This workshop seeks to expand the possibilities of the creative, technical, and conceptual aspects of collage while focusing on mixed-media techniques. A sample pack of collage materials will be provided in the first session.
