SMITHSONIAN EXHIBITION AT CCAC

AMERICANS
From the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian

Prepare to experience Americans, a powerful traveling exhibition that reveals how Indigenous peoples are intricately woven into the fabric of the United States—shaping its history, culture, and identity from the very beginning.

This thought-provoking exhibit confronts a striking paradox: Native Americans are deeply present in popular culture, yet often absent from historical narratives. Through compelling stories and perspectives, Americans challenges familiar myths and explores what has been remembered, contested, celebrated, and denied.

As we approach America 250, this exhibition offers a timely opportunity to reflect on the diverse contributions that continue to shape our evolving national identity.

Join us in Kingston this April and May for a richer, more complete understanding of our shared past.

This interactive display features memorabilia, video, audio, scannable QR codes, interactive components & more! Don’t miss this exciting exhibit!
