The True Story of Murder Cafe with Frank Marquette; Author Event
Frank Marquette, a resident of Rosendale, New York, is the owner-operator of Murder Café, a traveling entertainment company now in its 27th year of operation. His memoir, The True Story of Murder Café, has been published by Troy Bookmakers of Troy, New York. According to Frank, the book’s subtitle offers the reader a big clue as to its content. It reads: How One Families Plunge into Mystery Dinner Theatre Made the World a Better Place”.
Taking the stage this evening, Mr. Marquette will discuss his book and his 27-year history with Murder Café. His remarks will be interrupted by members of his theater troupe; they will offer characters, songs, and comedy taken from Murder Café’s popular shows. After his presentation Frank will take questions and then conduct a book signing.
Frank Marquette has appeared with theatre groups in New York, Nevada and New Mexico. He has written fifteen plays and since 2017 he has produced Mystery Weekend at Mohonk Mountain House. His on-camera work has included national commercials, a featured role in “Unsolved Mysteries”, local and regional commercials and roles in the PBS original production, “The Greatest Man in the World” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” on Amazon Prime.
