Friday Festivities: Cider and Apple Press
Stop by the Senate House State Historic Site grounds on Friday, October 3, from 2:00pm-4:00pm, and step into the sweet, crisp world of apple cider with this hands-on, family-friendly activity!
Visitors can try their hand at using a hand-cranked cider press and learn fun facts about apple harvesting, cider-making traditions and how communities relied on cider as a staple beverage, just like early American families did each fall. This family friendly drop-in activity is free and weather dependent.
