Join the Flowering Sun Ecology Center and the High Falls Food Co-op at Christ the King Episcopal Church in Stone Ridge for an engaging cooking and dining workshop. We will begin with a talk on the incredible benefits of mushrooms, then learn to prepare lion’s mane mushroom vegan “steaks” and a rich, savory mushroom gravy. Master expert techniques for cooking these umami-rich mushrooms to perfection and discover flavorful pairings to elevate your vegetarian game! After the demonstration, enjoy a delicious community style dinner featuring the vegan mushroom “steaks”, accompanying dishes, and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.
