Spirits in Blue

“Spirits in Blue” is a communication between the artist and the spirit world through the original photographic process known as Cyanotype. Skellyman begins with a visual invocation that opens the door so the spirits can respond by manipulating the alchemy that results in the final Prussian Blue image. The results are often surprisingly direct and arresting – a true collaboration between art and phantasmagoria.
