Monoprint: Techniques in Layering (NPS)

Join us in this 4-week course where students will learn to utilize monotype techniques to create dimensional and vibrant monoprints! Mono-printing is a printmaking method that leads to varied editions of prints whose qualities can result in more painterly or graphic results. In this class, Dilara will guide students through layering techniques, incorporating stenciling, gradients, textures, plate tracing, negative wiping, and color layering. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with these techniques, resulting in multiple unique prints. This class invites all levels of experience!
