2017 New Year’s Eve in Kingston
For 2018 New Year’s Eve activities, go here: https://kingstonhappenings.org/events/2018-new-years-eve-kingston-ny/
A New Year’s Eve ‘ball drop’ with a Wild West theme, fireworks, lots of live entertainment, DJs and certainly many choices for dinner and drinks, will be bringing thousands of people to Kingston’s Uptown Stockade District again this year to celebrate the demise of 2016 and the beginning of the new year. And this year, the “First Annual Midnight Run” may be bringing even more party-goers to the event via a walk/run beginning down on the Rondout Waterfront at the Kingston Visitor’s Center which will add a whole new dimension to the celebration this year and hopefully in future years. Each year, this event adds more to its programming and becoming an even bigger draw to the area. Last year’s addition was the fireworks sponsored by the Basch and Keegan law firm which will be part of the entertainment again this year. Check out our Gallery below to catch some scenes from previous years.
BSP will again serve as the main venue for the evening with The Felice Bros. headlining a diverse list of performers and other venues like KOVO and the Stockade Tavern will be providing some live music as well. Not too far away, the Anchor and Keegan Ale’s will be having live music earlier in the evening as well.
