Grassroots Event to Support Local Resident, Michael J. Fox Foundation

On Saturday, April 13, the Shaken Not Stirred 5K will wind its way through Uptown Kingston, raising funds for the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

One year ago, lifelong Kingston resident James Rodden was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. This event, organized by Rodden’s friends, aims to support research to benefit him and all Hudson Valley residents living with Parkinson’s.

The run is free, with organizers requesting a donation be made to the Shaken Not Stirred event page on the Michael J. Fox Foundation website. The 5K will include timing by Mid-Hudson Timing LLC and will feature optional handmade finisher medals and a shirt. A post-race celebration offers multiple raffles made possible by generous donations from local businesses.

All raffle proceeds will also be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Refreshments will also be served.

Runners and walkers are encouraged to sign up for the Shaken Not Stirred 5K. The event starts
at 11:30 AM and will start and end at Keegan Ales.
