Wintering: A Stillness Experience
December asks women to carry more at the exact moment nature is showing us how to do less.
As holiday expectations, year-end deadlines, caregiving responsibilities, and emotional labor intensify, many women continue pouring into everyone and everything—while leaving little space for themselves.
Wintering: A Stillness Experience is an intimate, two-hour indoor restorative gathering created for women who are ready to pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves.
Drawing wisdom from the natural world, we will explore winter not as a season when nothing is happening, but as a necessary time of rest, protection, nourishment, and quiet becoming. Dormancy is not the same as doing nothing. Beneath the surface, restoration is taking place.
Through gentle somatic grounding, intentional stillness, guided reflection, journaling, and optional circle sharing, participants will be invited to release some of what they have been carrying and listen more closely to what they need.
You do not need to arrive polished, productive, or prepared to care for anyone else. For these two hours, you are invited to receive.
No previous experience with mindfulness, somatic practices, or journaling is required. Come as you are and leave feeling more grounded, connected, and resourced for the season ahead.
Facilitated by Nikki Chung, M.S., founder of As One Flight and a New York State Licensed Hiking Guide who creates nature-based mindfulness experiences that help women slow down, reconnect, and return to themselves.
