Volunteer Fireman’s Hall and Museum
The Volunteer Firemen’s Hall and Museum of Kingston is known locally as “a little gem of a museum.” The museum was organized on January 18, 1980, and opened its doors to the public on April 2, 1982, at the Wiltwyck Fire Station. You are invited to explore our museum exhibits that include a working fire alarm system, an 1845 piano hand pumper, two parade hose carriages, a 1934 Sanford Cub Fire Engine, a 1956 American LaFrance Fire Engine, and an extensive collection of fire convention badges dating back to the 1800s, and much, much more.
