The Invite

Directed by Olivia Wilde, the 2026 American dark comedy The Invite follows an exhausted, bickering married couple, Angela (Wilde) and Joe (Seth Rogen), who invite their sexually adventurous and open upstairs neighbors, Hawk (Edward Norton) and Piña (Penélope Cruz), to dinner. The evening devolves into an intense, revealing exploration of their failing marriage. Attempting to spark conversation and confront their upstairs neighbors about loud sex, the dinner party turns into a claustrophobic, wickedly funny standoff that challenges their marriages.
