Arm-of-the-Sea Theater has been creating luminous works of mask & puppet theater on the creek in Saugerties for over 40 years. The 2025 Esopus Creek Puppet Suite is their annual hometown extravaganza, fresh-made each year.

The 2025 Puppet Suite features the story of the Sheffield Paper Mill, a turn-of-the-century local factory in Saugerties. The former site of the Sheffield Paper Mill is the currently where the Arm-of-the Sea Tidewater Center stands today. 

The Esopus Creek Puppet Suite celebrates puppet theater’s venerable roots and its resurgence as a vibrant form of contemporary communal art. 

Tickets available for purchase July 15th through our website. 7pm doors, 7:30pm show.
