Stick Puppet Studio
Class Experience: Young artists will become character designers as they build a cast of unique stick puppets! Utilizing a rich “sensory buffet” of tactile materials, students will layer sturdy cardboard bases with textured papers, colorful fabrics, yarn, and other embellishments to bring multiple distinct personalities to life. This session emphasizes open-ended process, hand-tearing, and mixed-media collage rather than copying a rigid model. Every student will leave the studio with several completed, fully unique puppets ready for play and theater!
