Life After | Afterlife

Join Eva Tenuto in conversation with artist Melanie Delgado. They will discuss Tenuto’s return to painting during a period of profound loss, her intuitive approach to materials, and the exploration of presence, vitality, and transformation in her work. View the exhibition’s richly textured, mixed-media paintings and hear about the process behind them. The conversation will also explore creativity as a vehicle for healing and the value of making, regardless of what we produce.

A large canvas and art materials will be available for everyone in attendance to make marks and contribute to a community painting. Tenuto will take the canvas back to her studio to complete the work, which will be donated to Good Work Institute.

The talk marks the closing day of Life After | Afterlife, Tenuto’s first solo exhibition.
