LEGACY — A Music Play Based on a True Story

LEGACY — A Music Play by Shauna Kanter

November 12–21, 2026 | Bethany Hall at the Old Dutch Church, Kingston, NY

Based on an extraordinary true story, LEGACY tells the story of an American man who travels to Nazi Germany in 1939 to rescue three people from the growing threat of fascism. Faced with a profound moral dilemma, he must decide whether to turn away or find the courage to act.

This moving and timely music play explores courage, conscience, and the difference one person can make. Featuring live Klezmer music, singing, archival projections, and a powerful ensemble, LEGACY brings a remarkable chapter of history to life.

Presented by Voice Theatre, LEGACY comes to Kingston following performances in Europe. Seven performances only, November 12–21, 2026.
