Land In Black Hands Harvest Gathering: Of Seeds and Soils

Come gather with us at Land In Black Hands (LIBH) for our annual Harvest Gathering—a day of food, stories, learning, and connection on the land.

Alongside Mimi Lucero of Inside the Husk, we’ll explore the living relationships between soil, seeds, people, and place through hands-on soil training, a community talking circle with Chenae Bullock, and opportunities to learn and work together.

We’ll share a meal, harvest from the land, and gather around the table for a food preparation workshop with Chef Yunique. A potluck dish is welcome, but not required.

We’ll also celebrate what’s happening at LIBH, including our Purple Collard Project grow-out and seed stories, while deepening our relationship with the Hudson Valley Farm Hub and others helping to keep our region’s agricultural knowledge and seed traditions alive.
