Harold Lloyd in “Safety Last!”

Small town big shot Harold moves to the big city to make it big – he doesn’t. Not that his girl Mildred would know, she gets expensive gifts and glowing reports of his meteoric rise at his job. Trouble arrives with her surprise visit. Desperate for funds, Lloyd plans a “Human Fly” publicity stunt. Unfortunately, the stuntman backs out and Lloyd must do the terrifying climb himself, culminating with the iconic “clock scene” – one of the most celebrated images in cinema. A century later, it still leaves the audience on the edge of their seat. With live accompaniment by Marta Waterman.
