Draw your Dream
Draw your dream! We’ll join together around one table to draw and collage our visions for ourselves and our community. This one hour event will be led by artist Dakota Lane, Educators. Participants will explore a variety of inspiring techniques and media to make a rich collaborative vision that honors our unity as well as our diversity.
Every participant will leave with a mini collaborative piece.
All Ages, no experience necessary, supplies included. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Dakota Lane is a transmedia artist, whose work has been featured in the New York Times, 2024 and 2025 Arts Mid-Hudson grant winner, and director of Drawing Together HV, a mobile arts program dedicated to bringing inclusive, culturally responsive creative experiences to underserved communities across the Hudson Valley. Supported by the NYS Legislature through Arts Mid-Hudson, Free to Dream centers art as a tool for dialogue, healing, individual expression, and collaborative imagination.
