As part of our Sapphic Week programming, we are thrilled to present a night of queer comedy, featuring Arielle Isaac Norman and our very own Adriana Wong.

Arielle Isaac Norman is a politically fluid lesbian whose quick wit, dark humor, and satire cut right through the bullsh*t and get to the core of social, political, and gender issues. She is a nationally touring headliner and has also opened for Louie C.K., Maria Bamford, and Tim Dillon, Bobcat Goldthwait, Dave Nihill, Eddie Pepitone, Ryan Long, Brian Simpson, Joe DeRosa, Myq Kaplan and Roy Wood Jr.

Full of risky nuance, her 2024 debut special Ellen DeGenderless candidly explores all the hot button gender issues (pronouns, restrooms, sports, transition treatments, and detransition) as well as the cancellation of words. A native Texan and a gay, genderfluid Mormon, Arielle doesn’t fit in a box and doesn’t think most people really do.

Arielle was the first person from the Austin comedy scene invited to be a guest panelist on the Kill Tony show. She is a regular at Moontower, Skankfest and SXSW and has performed at numerous other comedy festivals, including the prestigious SF Sketchfest, Limestone and Laughing Skull festivals. Arielle is a two time finalist in the Funniest Person in Austin contest and was a headliner of the Boulder Comedy Festival in 2023 and the LGBTQLOL Festival in NOLA in 2024. Norman also took first place in the Palm Springs International Comedy Festival competition in September of 2024. Arielle is represented by Paladin Artists.
