Achieve luscious value tones through the technique of Mezzotint. Mezzotint is a non-acid method of Intaglio printing. The process involves using a mezzotint rocker to create a dense dotting pattern on your plate. Ezra Heller will guide students on how to work reductively by selectively scraping and burnishing the highlights and midtones of your image. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about this unique intaglio technique!
Open to intermediate levels of experience.
