Borromeo String Quartet
Maverick welcomes back the Borromeo String Quartet, renowned for their gripping, “simply the best” performances and their remarkable impact on the chamber music world. They return to lead the final concert of our season, joined by pianist Henry Kramer, whose thrilling technique and expressive depth have earned international acclaim.
Their program features the inventive brilliance of Florence Price’s Five Folksongs in Counterpoint, the vibrant energy of Beethoven’s “Razumovsky” Quartet, and the warm, generous sweep of Dvořák’s Piano Quintet No. 2.
