FREE community event for ALL AGES
Join us for a fun-filled day outdoors as we celebrate the newly improved and expanded Black Creek Preserve with pizza, music, games, hikes, and more!
- Discover the birds that call Black Creek Preserve home with the John Burroughs Natural History Society
- Take a guided hike with Outdoor Promise
- Learn about fish and eels with the Brain and Body Coalition and the DEC Hudson River Estuary Program
- Performances by DJ H20 and Lara Hope and the Ark-Tones

PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE PRESERVE.
All attendees are asked to park at one of the two locations listed below (less than ½ a mile away).
There will be a shuttle to and from the event. The shuttle stop at the preserve is a 5-10 minute walk (½ mile) from the event.

A golf cart will be available for those with mobility challenges. Call 845-926-6648 regarding ADA parking accommodations.
The Ulster County Nature Bus will also be running to the preserve throughout the day.
This stunning park along the Hudson River—a local favorite since 1999—just got even better. With the addition of a 12-acre riverfront section, this natural gem now spans a whopping 142 acres of breathtaking views, rolling meadows, water access, and exciting new features!
